Hello, I’m Chantelle an illustrator by the sea in Hastings.

To keep it simple, I create bold, colourful, joy-filled illustrations rooted in everyday magic. My work blends cosy storytelling with a maximalist love for bright palettes, playful details, and art that instantly lifts your mood. Think tea breaks, seaside strolls, and small moments, reimagined through a vibrant, feel-good lens.

What started as a love for drawing has evolved into a practice of noticing, pausing, and turning those feelings into expressive, layered artwork. Whether I’m working traditionally with watercolours and mixed media or digitally in Krita and Photoshop, my focus stays the same: creating art that feels warm, energising, and impossible to ignore.

Over time, my illustrations have grown into collections across children’s books, greeting cards, bookmarks, prints, and licensed designs. Each piece is created to spark happiness, comfort, or a moment of escape, because I believe art should feel like a little burst of joy you can come back to again and again.
